While our policy has always been to create products based on children’s artwork, ColorMe Founder Paul Marciano wanted to use this anniversary to honor and celebrate the work of his maternal grandfather, Ludwig Bemelmans, creator of the classic children’s book character Madeline. For generations, Madeline and her friends have engaged the mind, spirit and imagination of children. Paul shares his grandfather’s vision of bringing joy through artistic expression to children everywhere.
