www.colormecompany.com

It has been the privilege and honor of my life to have founded and served as the Chief Coloring Officer from 2003-2011. We started with a few simple goals and values including being 100% American made and donating 10% of our gross proceeds. We sought to create products that fostered children's creativity and promoted the time-honored values of charitable giving, good manners, and patriotism. We had a vision to "color the world brighter for all children." I am proud to say that we have always remained true to our values and fulfilled on our goals and promises.

During our eight years of operation, we brought joy to thousands of children around the globe with our products - most especially our "Waiting for You" Horse Pillowcase which sold over 5,000 units and was drawn by an amazing 12 year-old, Sarah Buckleitner! Thanks to the drawing of 6 year-old, Jordan Pearson, we created the "Hero Heart" thank you card that has been sent to thousands of troops around the world letting them know that they are in the hearts and prayers of all Americans. Freedom isn't free but saying "thank you" is!

We have donated over $15,000 to wonderful charities such as the Marine-Corps Law Enforcement Foundation, First Book, and Embrace Kids Foundation and in 2007 we were honored in a Wall Street Journal article as a role model among for-profit companies who give back to their communities. We are extremely proud of our charitable work and hope that we have served as an example to other organizations in this area.

I want to thank all of you who have been such wonderful supporters throughout the years - believing in our products and our mission. We turn off the lights knowing that we made a difference in the world. I can ask for no more in this lifetime.

God Bless,
Dr. Paul Marciano

EPILOGUE

While teaching a graduate course at Princeton University in the spring of 2009, I was approached by McGraw-Hill to write a book based on my research and experiences. In fact, many of the stories in the book are based on my time at ColorMe Company. "Carrots and Sticks Don't Work: Build a Culture of Employee Engagement with the Principles of RESPECT" was released in the summer of 2010 and has exceeded my wildest expectations as it has achieved critical acclaim around the world.
